FAQ Club MJ Allora Sardina

The project is real, and it is already working. Allora Sardinia is not just an idea. We are already living in Sardinia, the farm life is running, animals are here, and activities like alpaca walks and farm experiences are already happening. Some members have already used their accommodation, and others are booking their stays now. The system is active and works in real life, not only on paper. Every membership is based on a clear written contract. You officially lend us 2,200 € for 10 years. Each year, you can choose:

 • club accommodation (mainly in Sardinia, and in Jelení while it is available)

 • a cash return of 250 € for that year, if you don't use your stay. 

 The money is used to build and run Allora Sardinia and to support the long-term development of the project. We keep things simple and transparent, and we communicate openly if anything changes along the way. This project is meant for people who like a slower pace, nature, animals and a more personal way of traveling – whether they know us already or are discovering us for the first time.

CLUB MJ was never designed as a fixed plan with one final outcome. From the beginning, it was meant to grow and adapt step by step, based on real life.

At the moment, the main focus of the project is Sardinia. The animals are here, activities are happening, and the base of Allora Sardinia is being built gradually. The yurts are already prepared, and one yurt is already standing, with further steps planned in a natural way.

Mezi Jeleny is currently in a transition phase. While it is being offered for sale, it is still part of the story and remains available when possible. We are doing our best to keep it connected to CLUB MJ in some form, but how exactly this will look in the future depends on several factors.

What is important to us is continuity, not perfection.

CLUB MJ continues as a long-term community project, now mainly centered around Sardinia, nature, animals and shared experiences. Some details may change along the way, but the core idea stays the same.

Your membership helps us invest at the beginning of the project. For you, it means very affordable accommodation in Sardinia for the next 10 years – which you can use yourself or pass on to someone else.

Membership in CLUB MJ is simple and flexible. You don't have to do the same thing every year. One year you might come for a longer stay, another year you might not travel at all, and another year you can give your stay to someone else or choose the cash option instead.

In practice, this means that each year you decide how you want to use your membership. There are no fixed schedules and no strict rules. We stay in direct contact and arrange things in a friendly way.

Yurts:

If you come on your own, you can stay up to 10 nights in a yurt (instead of the standard 5 nights). This is the simplest and most flexible option for solo travelers.

Apartments:

The standard club stay is 5 nights.

If you travel alone and choose an apartment, you can use 5 club nights there.

(Of course: If you would like to stay longer, you can either use nights from another year or pay extra for additional nights, like everyone. )

In some cases, if another member is traveling at the same time and availability allows it, we may be able to pair two solo members in one apartment, each having their own room. If this works, both can stay up to 10 nights, but this option cannot be guaranteed in advance.

We always explain the options clearly before booking and try to find a fair and reasonable solution.

Yes, absolutely! We've also thought about larger groups.

We can prepare an individual agreement based on the number of people, nights, or how fast you want to use the membership. Just tell us how you'd like to use it – we'll find a way that works.

Examples:

• You can use all 50 nights (total over 10 years) within one or two years, for example for a group retreat.

• Even after using all the nights, you'll remain a member for the full 10 years and keep all other benefits, like discounts.

Reservations are handled directly with us.

Each member receives a personal membership number, which is used when making reservations. When you'd like to use your club nights, you simply get in touch, share your membership number, tell us when and where you'd like to come, and we'll look at availability together.

Because CLUB MJ is a small, personal project, bookings are not automated. Everything is based on communication, flexibility and mutual agreement, rather than fixed rules or booking systems.

If you decide not to travel in a given year, you can always choose to use your nights later or take the annual cash option instead, according to your membership terms.

Partner places are part of CLUB MJ and give members more variety beyond staying only with us.

At partner locations, the membership works in the form of a member discount. Each year, you receive a €280 discount on your stay at a partner place. From this amount, we contribute €240, and the partner place adds an additional €40 discount from their side.

So each year, you can choose one of the following options: 

- stay with us at Allora Sardinia (or at Mezi Jeleny while available), 

- use the €280 discount at a partner place,

- or choose the €240 annual cash option instead.

Partner places may change over time. Some are long-term, others may be added or replaced depending on availability and shared values. We prefer to keep this part of the project flexible rather than promise a fixed list far into the future.

Currently, partner places include locations in Czechia, Croatia as well as selected travel experiences in India. We are also preparing more partner collaborations.

Of course we've thought of that – even though we believe most people will stay.

If only a few individuals decide to leave, we'll handle it quickly – money will be returned within a few months, maximum within half a year.

But if a larger wave of requests comes at once, for example for a serious reason,

we'll create a fair waiting list and pay everything out gradually, no later than within 2 years.

Your trust is key for us – so everything will be defined in the contract and handled transparently and respectfully.

We understand that life changes – and no one wants to feel tied to something that no longer makes sense for them.

That's why we offer a clear exit option.

After three years, you can leave the project at any time and receive a proportional part of your contribution back.

Example: 

After 3 years → EUR 1,540 returned 

After 4 years → EUR 1,320 returned 

After 5 years → EUR 1,100 returned …and so on.

If you have already used more stays or benefits than would normally correspond to that period (for example, if you chose to use more nights earlier), the returned amount will be adjusted accordingly.

Everything is handled directly with us. We always aim to find a fair solution, and all conditions are clearly defined in the contract.

I understand that this may feel like a lot of trust at first. In reality, I am the one taking the bigger risk here. I'm committing myself personally, with a long-term obligation, while everything is clearly defined and protected for the member in the contract.

You are not lending money to a company or a platform, but to a real person you can contact directly and who is personally responsible for the agreement.

If, in a worst-case scenario, the agreement was not fulfilled, standard legal procedures apply – just like with any other private loan. The contract is legally enforceable and protects both sides.

We're working with a lawyer and a tax advisor – we have consulted it and everything is set up and backed properly.

This form – a personal loan – is completely legal, common, and untaxed in the Czech Republic.

From your side, it's not a donation or an investment, but a loan that we'll repay – either in money or in services.

Once we provide the accommodation, I (as a self-employed person) will declare it as normal income, so taxes and contributions will be paid at the moment when you actually use something.

This is not a trick or tax evasion. We're doing it fairly, clearly, and with full awareness that trust is everything.

Please check your country's laws regarding receiving interest on your investment and using our services.

CLUB MJ exists to help us bridge a very concrete phase of the project.

We are in the process of building Allora Sardinia and completing the purchase and setup of the farm. At the same time, Mezi Jeleny is being sold, but this process naturally takes time.

Rather than taking a classic loan or rushing decisions, we chose a model that feels fair, transparent and meaningful for both sides. CLUB MJ allows us to move forward with the Sardinia project while giving members something real in return – stays, experiences, or a cash option.

CLUB MJ is a way to move through this transition together.

We didn't want to build this as a classic business project or a public crowdfunding campaign.

CLUB MJ is based on trust, personal relationships and direct communication. It allows us to move forward in a way that feels natural and aligned with how we live and work.

Using a crowdfunding platform would also mean paying fees to a third party – money we prefer to use directly for what matters: the farm, the project, and the experiences we create together.

This approach simply feels like the right fit for us :-)

Support doesn't have to be financial. It can be sharing our story with people who might feel close to it, offering ideas, skills or connections, or simply being supportive and present.

Some people help by volunteering, others by recommending partner places, collaborating on small projects, or spreading the word in a natural way.

In return, we offer something tangible – stays, experiences, or a yearly cash option. When you stay with us, we mostly cover basic costs, and because everything is spread over ten years, it's manageable for us.

We've done the numbers carefully. This model is sustainable, fair, and allows the project to grow without rushing or stress.

Most importantly, everything is clearly written in the contract. And if at any point it no longer makes sense for someone, there is a clear and defined way to exit.

Allora Sardinia is a small farm project in north-west Sardinia, near Alghero. The area combines countryside, open space and nature, while still being close to the sea and basic infrastructure. We are: 

 • about 10 minutes by car from the sea, 

 • close to beautiful beaches, nature spots and small villages, 

 • within easy reach of Alghero town and the airport,

 • yet far enough to feel quiet, calm and rural. 

 At the moment, we already have our animals here – horses, alpacas and our dog – and farm life has begun. We are offering farm experiences and alpaca & horse walks, and spending time with people who enjoy a slower, more personal way of being. Until the farm purchase is completed, we are staying in apartments located nearby. There are two apartments in the house, and depending on availability, we can occasionally host guests there – some CLUB MJ members, friends, or regular paying guests have already stayed this way. 

 Once the farm purchase is completed, the plan is to gradually place yurts directly on the land, creating simple accommodation connected to nature. As with everything in this project, we are moving step by step, without rushing. The best way to get to know Allora Sardinia is simply to follow along, see how things grow over time, and feel whether this place and this way of life resonate with you :-)
